		<description>Oh, misery does love company.  Ouch!  I haven&#039;t gotten the dreaded kernel crash yet -- knock wood.  One of the things that I love about the Mac is how forgiving it is.  But, again, that&#039;s what makes it easy to forget that crashes can still take your data, if you&#039;re not careful.

		<description>And this evening I was well into updating one of my blogs using iBlog, had Safari open, Mail open and was  listening to my iPod when I realized I hadn&#039;t updated it with a bunch of songs I&#039;d added to iTunes.  I plug the iPod into the firewire port and get a kernel crash (...You Must Restart Your Mac...).  I had saved throughout the evening but not the last 10 minutes or so of writing and image uploads.  Argh.. indeed.  Why isn&#039;t there auto-save in every program?
