Good start. You are too close to the microphone, as the others have mentioned, the popping P's are a drag. I use a lavalier microphone, mounted on my chest, and that keeps them to a minimum. I just can't bring myself to invest in panty hose.

Keep it up.

Thanks for the comments, Rick. I'm going to try to eliminate the popping next 'cast, but the microphone I'm using is just a cheap headset mic that I got free with a copy of ViaVoice. I've got my eye on a nice CAD mic and a mixer, but just haven't been able to pop for them yet. Soon, I hope.

The important thing for me was to get one done, and YAY, I did! Looking forward to hearing yours, too.

Caught your podcast on OpenPodcast.org and I think you're off to a good start. I enjoyed how you related the subject to a film (Jerry McGuire) and to your own experience with the theatre company.

The audio sounded pretty good to me, with the exception of "p" popping, which you could fix with a section of panty hose stretched across a coat hanger. I've been contemplating doing a podcast myself and my prelim tests show that I need to fabricate one of these gizmos myself.

Anyway, keep up the good work.
